To: Paul McKenna, Resident of Canton
Greetings: In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby directed to notify and
warn the voters of the said Town of Canton, qualified to vote in Town affairs, to meet at
the municipal building meeting room on Thursday, October 27, 2022, AD at 6:00pm,
then and there to act upon Articles 1, 2, and 3 being the following:
Article 1: To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting.
Article 2: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectboard to appropriate up to
$75,000 from undesignated fund balance to offset property taxes.
Article 3: To see if the Town will authorize the change for fiscal year 2022-2023 Real and
Personal Property Tax 1st installment due date from November 4, 2022 to December 5,
2022.
